Moleskin originally referred to the short, silky fur of mole, now however moleskin hats are made from heavy cotton fabric, woven and then sheared to create a short soft pile. Hats made from moleskin are noted for the wonderful softness and durability.

The Christys Moleskin Flat Cap has been padded for extra warmth and is fully lined in satin. The cap is finished with a grosgrain sweatband and sewn down crown.
